Terms and conditions
Petula Jade requests that you to read the following terms and conditions carefully and as it is a legal document, before paying the booking fee. It is the responsibility of the client to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions, as by paying your booking fee you agree to be bound by these User Terms.
The deposit
To secure your wedding date a non-refundable/non-transferable booking fee is required, which will be deducted from the invoice amount. The final invoice is to be paid in full 14 days prior to the wedding date via bank transfer or by cash payment on the day. Please note cash payment will be collected on arrival prior to starting.
Cancellations
Booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable if you cancel, change, or postpone your wedding date. This includes cancellations due to personal reasons, relationship breakdowns, financial problems or unforeseen circumstances such as health pandemics, weather conditions, travel limitations, venue closures. Petula Jade does not offer any reductions at any time to the agreed upon invoice. Should someone in your wedding/group booking cancel for any reason, then they are welcome to be replaced by someone else.
Cancellation or rescheduling of weddings require a minimum of 120 days’ notice. Cancellations without 120 day’s notice will be charged the full amount of the service since the booking duration and time of the requested date has been specifically allocated to you which results in loss of income/bookings for Petula Jade .
Cancellation of any booking by you must be communicated in writing, via email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this.
Petula Jade does not offer refunds for any completed service at any stage. If you are in anyway dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify Petula Jade on location.
In the very unlikely event that Petula Jade is severely unwell or unable to work on your wedding date, you will receive a full refund of money that has been paid. Petula Jade will do her best to find a similar calibre artist as a replacement for the day.
Payment
Invoices are to be paid by bank transfers, with bank details located on the invoice. Please ensure when making deposits you use your name as a reference. You will receive a confirmation email when your payment has been received.
Travel, Parking and Early morning Fee
Travel costs vary depending on location of wedding, please ensure you give location when enquiring to enable me to quote accurately. Please notify me as soon as possible if there is any change in location, as this may modify the price of the quote.
Travel fee is calculated at $100 per hour to and from the wedding destination.
If paid parking is required, this is to be paid for on the day by client prior to arriving. Clear parking instructions must be advised prior to wedding to avoid any delay in start time.
An early morning fee from $50 will apply for any weddings starting before 6am.
Interstate or Overseas destination weddings will require return flights & one to two nights accommodation on top of the hair fees.
Health & Safety
Petula Jade is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to give advance notifications to Petula Jade if you or any the your wedding party/group ave a hypersensitivity that you are aware off.
Petula jade is committed to protecting her clients health and safety and of course my own, so hygiene has always been at the forefront of my business operation. Given the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic there are additional measures as required by law that I must make to safely continue providing hair services to protect the health of myself and others.
By paying the booking fee to lock in your wedding date, you are confirming that you agree to the above terms & conditions
